Today (March 17th) is St. Patrick's Day, and we, the 3rd grade, spent three hours in English (and Arts) learning about this special occasion. First, we received some historical information and a brief overview of Ireland. After that, the students worked in groups of two or three to create A3 posters on the topic of St. Patrick's Day while listening to Irish music.

The students were very creative and learned a lot about the traditions and symbols associated with the day, such as shamrocks, leprechauns, and the significance of the colour green.

While working Ms. Heigl showed the class pictures of her past trips to Ireland and shared her experiences.

It was a fun and educational experience, and everyone enjoyed learning more about Ireland and celebrating St. Patrick's Day together!
